Reacting to feed back.

I have gone through the feedback and had a look on what I need to change for the website as it need to be correct and needs to be good for the user. The main problem was the social media not working. So to solve this problem I will need to change the coding on it so it will take you straight to the website and quickly. Another big problem was the time it took to load to page and the main reason for this problem was the host of the website as it was very slow another reason there was things that took along time to load so to make this better I would need to change the writing or coding on the website to make it go faster on different browsers. One big problem on the website was the box not showing up as it didn't pop out or fade in. So to solve this problem I will need to change the coding so then the box actually pops out. Another problem with the website is that the writing was really hard to see, so to solve this problem I will need to change the writing colour or put a box underneath the writing to make it stand out.

Positive feedback
I had a lot of positive feedback with my website and some of the users say that the look of my website is very appealing and the website has stuck to the house style well. Some of the users said that my website shows information easily and they navigate around my website with ease as it all on one page. The information is easy to read and they can see that it relates to an older target audience. The user said that the colour stands out and makes the website better. The social media icons on the website look really good and stand out also the contact page worked very well and the user was able to contact the person who ran the organization. The user said that all the links worked but the best part was how the page fazed into the writing and all fazed in together. The other bit that worked very well was the photos are all very high quality.

My opinion
As my website was made I saw that the website will be very appealing however I didn't now about the function of the website. So when I finished coding and making the website I decided to test it. The results was good however I would change the shade of yellow used in the house style. I would like to change the load time on my website so it improves the speed and the quality.


Functionality
The functionality of this website is to provide customers with a clear explanation on what the bees do and why we should save the bees. This website should give the user a brief explanation why do we need bees and how important they are to the world. The functionality of the website is good and everything works correctly but to improve the functionality I would make sure that the pictures mean something and pop out at you when it is clicked on and has a brief explanation.

Navigation
The navigation for this website works correctly as the social media works well and the writing is all hyperlinked. The scrowling on the website all works correctly and the pictures all over lap when moving the mouse in a certain way. The pages are all correctly navigated and go to correct destination.

House style
The house style of this website is themed yellow and black as it goes with the bee colour another house style is the font which is all ok and matches all other text and the colour of the text this is so the text can be clearly read and the user has no problem looking at my text. The pictures all relate to each other as they all are about nature and represents bees.

Construction of website
In my website I have sections that cover over each photo which does work as the photos do run really smoothly. When going onto a different page the writing slowly appears into it and is done correctly. So far my website works at it full potential.

Navigation
The navigation for my website all work as when I click on a certain word it takes me to the section in the website it should take me. The scrolling up and down works really good as each slide goes to the right section. I went and asked a user if the navigation makes sense and they agreed that it did so then I will not have any problems.

External and internal hyperlinks
In my website I have currently one hyperlink which leads the person to a different bee website. This hyperlink works really well as it takes the person to the correct destination and other website.
There is a live link in the other website which shows a field full off bees.

Page load time
altogether it takes 15 seconds to load my website. That's on a laptop
I have just checked on the PC and it took 3 seconds on the PC.

Performance of the website when using different browsers
Google Chrome runs really smoothly and doesn't have any problems.
Firefox was a bit slow but not that bad as the when on the website it run smoothly but loading it took some time.
Safari didn't really work well but I still got on the website and still was able to use it but it was very slow.


House style
My house style has been very well planned and has been done all the way through the website as it has the same colours and same fonts also the pictures used are all bee related and it stays like that. All the way through the website I have decided to make bee puns so then it makes the website way more fun.

Is it still aimed at the target audience
The website is currently aimed at an older audience as it has older information and doesn't include any cartoon like characters or silly pictures as it is all mature. The writing will be read by a older audience.

In my user testing I have realized that on different browsers the website works differently so for examples safari worked very well but then IE didn't work very well and I can not do anything to solve the problem. Sometimes the animation for the box would not work as I had my friend said that it didn't work also the link for the social media didn't work so I would need to look into that and ty and sort things out. Another problem I have bumped into is the website load time so for example I would need to change the host of website to make it faster.

My website will be hosted on wix and the reason for this is that it is an easy hosting website to use. As my website will be viewed by many. This will help the bee website get bigger so then people can view the website with ease.

The purpose of having bee website is to explain and help bees survive so they can provide more honey. The bees is to help the bees from coming extinct the website will give the public information about bees. The website is to give live data to the public so people can understand how the bees population grows in the summer and decreases in the winter.

My target audience for the website is any age but with the website look it would be aiming at a young age as the bright colours will be suitable for the younger age. I would say that it is 9 to 15 years of age aimed. The gender for the website would be male because of the colour of the website.

Potential revenue for my website can be displayed in two alternate forms. My website will have a designated place designed for standard advertisements that could be filled by companies that have products related to the ones promoted on my website for example I would work with companies that are interested in environmental safety. There is also potential for expansion for the website as I could include more types of pages with the revenue made. The revenue will help me run the website but also change features to update when it is time. So the user has a fresh feed.

Launch date
According to the Gant chart week 6 is the week I finally finish the website and that is April 24th so for the launch I was thinking of making the launch date be 28th April so then I can release the website just before summer so it will go update with bees.

Website features

The website includes a live web so you can see what the bees are doing in the fields.

Another feature is the fading in the writing so then it goes with pictures and text boxes.

Another feature of the website is the pop up contact sheet. This happens when you go on the page.

This is ITV News and it shows what up to date stories are available and what is happening in the world at the moment. The website has many good features, including the search bar which gives the customers a better range of stories or gives the customer the liability of searching for the news they want to know.

Vimeo is a website where you can download music on your laptop using a membership you pay monthly and get all the music you can have. The website is very creative with a moving background and good clear font and gives you options to change the colour of the font. the website is simple but well put together and shows the types of music you can get.

Dave is easy to explain it is a programme like BBC but you can watch more exotic films or TV shows. the website is the best I've seen of them all it has pictures what transfer over and change it has a great search bar and amazing detail in there description for the TV shows. It also shows good offers and times when the programmes are on and what time they finish.

JD is a e commerce this means it is a website is for shopping the website is very well made and has all the key features for the website to have. it shows the product and shows other options if the product is not available. another good thing is that the website has good range of product and colour it has a very good search bar.

MSN is a social website which many people all around the world can use and interact, they can communicate from far distances. MSN has a very simple website which can be understood by anyone it has a plane whit back ground which brings out the font and pictures. the usability of it is ok it isn't as good as Facebook or Snap chat but it does have very good communication speed.

As an E commerce is manly focused on to sell there product to many people around the world and to deliver to many around the world however the main focused it to make the process of buying the product and finding the product way easier so the customer can find it really easy. when the customer gets on to the website the website need certain features so it will make the customer happy with the style. the positioning of things when setting up a website is very important to code it in the right place and to sort the right things into it. The website is presentable and very sleek and very simple JD sports has pictures and links to everything so it is easy to find it. The process of actually going to the basket is really easy because the person who adds there product to the basket can quickly click the basket and reach there product so they can go through the payment process. The main features of a E commerce is the search bar as it needs to be appropriate for the customers so they can easily find the right features.

A information website includes the same things as a E commerce so it will have the likes of a search bar and linked photos however the news will be updated every day unlikely a E commerce which will only be updated once a month the best things about the information website is with all the gossip and new pictures it presents. the purpose of a information website is to get up to date information about what is happening in the world at the moment. the ITV news is all up to date and got a mass production process is very wide information.

Social Media is all about posting your life in a certain text or telling people how you are doing. The social media websites will include a search bar so you can search for all of your friend or people you want to now about. the way it is presented is usually up to you and how it will look and what pictures you want on the social media. you can usually watch videos on the social media and it is always in the same colour for anybody for example like on Facebook. Facebook for example has loads and loads of  web links so it will be available to be able to go to certain website so you can buy things. people go on this to share what they do or to communicate from far distances. Social media is usually used for advertising product or trying to get followers so you can become well known.

Entertainment is usually used for downloading music, watching videos or even playing video games. however the format of these websites are usually very much bright an colourful and have famous things what can be related to the subject like YouTube has some of the biggest brands on there and some of the biggest you tubers on the front page to use for the advertisement. one of the features they have is like the suggestions page which shows the users some good options to pick also there is always a search bar and a navigations bar, there is always a login or sign in area also there is always headings and a scroll bar with in the website. the appearance of this website is everything this is why they include the pictures and colours for the website. the coding for one of these websites is pretty hard as it does take a lot of time to upload a vide or add certain content for the customers they want a website which bring good content to there videos.

ITV News has many benefits to it because of the way it is made the benefits of them having there website is to provide up to date news to many people around the world. they are always on and never stop working it is 24 hours and 7 days a week. so more people can use it. They also try and show the world adverts so they make money they do this by linking it to main big stories. On the home page they show the min stories to get people more interesting. the best thing bout this is that more people go straight on the hoe page and click on something.

MSN they promote adverts to gain money and they sell certain things in website so like emoji's so people buy them so they can use when talking to someone. They also have famous people on the social media so people will go on it and use it.

Vimeo they sell music to download on to the device which makes them revenue so they can import more music. they sell songs as one or in an album usually the songs in one are able to put into a playlist.

Dave use advertisement to make a profit but most of there profit comes on by TV channels which want to show there content on here channel.

JD sport they sell all of there products in store and online they leave there website on 24 7 and this makes it better for there target audience they make profit from there product but they use the technique what has famous people in it to attract customers to buy it.

JD is a massive store and has many features. The features of a website can be very interesting and some of the features include the likes of signing in to a website to have your own account so the website itself can send you information about the website and what is happening also it gives you exclusive offers for people who have an account. There is always a search bar so then they can search quickly into places. Its got a basket. Its recommended products which are things that you might be interested.

ITV News they have a search bar so people can find there news. the search bar helps the people get to certain stories however the search bars take people to adverts so they make money. A cool feature on this website is a caracul it shows different pictures on a slide show.

Vimeo is a website you can download music a cool feature of this is a log in and a subscription this makes it able for the user to have there own playlist and music. another cool feature is the video background which moves when on the home page.

MSN is a social media website  that people can communicate with there are cool features where you can find your friends using a search bar with the correct email address the social media is full with advertising which means the pop ups come out a lot and make people look into it.

Dave is a website which you can look into TV channels. there is a search bar and then there is photos on it also the website has the option to save your favourite  programmes so you can go back to them and continue watching the series or be in the middle of one programme and you have to go somewhere you can go back to the exact point where you left it.

The type of content this website has is very entertaining they do this to provide content to you hone screens and computer screens the website contains a guide so then people can find the TV show they want the website has a log in so  when your favourite programme is on then it can give you a notification also if there is a new programme. the content on this website has interesting photos to give the customer a understanding for the website. The content on this website has quotes from movies to show what movies really have been on this website and how big the company is. They also have bold writing to make sure the user can see and use interesting photos to make the customer interested.

well this as changed a lot over the years to be honest the way they are formed hasn't really changed much just the way it is position the writing hasn't really changes just the way there is more writing on the 2015 and a better picture  on the 2015 however the 2008 is really simple and well put together and easier to read but there isn't much to look at like on 205 the website picture rotate around an change as soon as you move your mouse to the left or right however it does change on its own when not in use. The 2015 has given more description and better colour an format.
